What is biohacking?

The concept behind biohacking is to optimise your life and your body through biology, science and technology, and holistic approaches to recover faster and more efficiently from ailments.

 Biohacking works by focusing on building a positive environment for your mitochondria, in other words, your body’s energy cells, to thrive within. This is because the mitochondria are the batteries that provide energy to every cell in your body. And are easily affected by their environment.

Improve the quality of your sleep:

You can do this by reducing the amount of blue light you are exposed to before bed, meditate to relax and let go of any thoughts that may keep you awake, avoid caffeine at night, or sleep with a sleeping mask to create a sleep environment that is dark as possible.

Reduce your stress levels:

The negative impacts of stress on physical, mental, and emotional health have become common knowledge. And while we all experience stress in our day-to-day lives, there are ways to reduce it. Some classic stress-reduction techniques include deep breathing practices, yoga, meditation, and going for walks.

Strength and Movement

Regular exercise is great for both the body and mind. Not only does it keep you fit and healthy, but it also helps to strengthen your muscles and bones. Whilst some forms of movement, like walking, can also relax you. However, doing the same exercise every day can get boring. So, try to vary them by mixing them up a little
